About Us

Hi, am Norisha, and welcome to my food blog.  Come with me on a culinary journey

through the flavors of the Bahamas. As a former marketer, reconciliation specialist, and passionate food enthusiast, I am thrilled to share my love for food.

Born and raised in the beautiful Bahamas, I live in a diverse food culture that showcases a fusion of influences from many corners of the world. From British and Haitian to other Caribbean, African,

Indian, Chinese, and Greek, our Bahamian cuisine is an awesome array of flavors and traditions.

My food philosophy is simple: the more infusion, the better. Adding spices, heat, rich and savory gravies, and refreshing citrus elevate every dish to new heights. Seasoning is the heart and soul of any great meal, and I am here to guide you on how to master it.

Through my blog, I aim to show the rich culinary heritage of the Bahamas while exploring global influences and experimenting with new recipes. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or a novice in the kitchen, my goal is to inspire and empower you to create delicious, mouthwatering dishes.

Join me as I share family recipes passed down through generations, uncover hidden gems from local food markets, and embark on culinary adventures near and far. Together, we will dive into Bahamian cuisine and discovering  what can happen when diverse flavors come together.

So come on over and check out my Food Blog today – you won’t regret it!
